I went to the Tarrasque and intimidated him so he stopped moving, just long enough to put the headband on him. With his intellect raised I diplomacy-ed him into joining our party. I was using the old "Tarrasque is CE" stat, which has been replaced, I see, but you still have a 50/50 chance of making the Tarrasque good and neutralizing him as a threat, or otherwise making him easier for your (insert alignment specific party member here) to hit/dodge.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15645561416130032331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8457309627892248510.post-44190999267707209872013-02-22T10:54:36.534-05:002013-02-22T10:54:36.534-05:00I love it! That's a good way of crippling a barbarian, paladin, anti-paladin, or anybody else who relies on their alignment to function!Zenithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084567670274788805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8457309627892248510.post-72799957478503297392013-02-22T06:31:46.860-05:002013-02-22T06:31:46.860-05:00With a will save of +12, a rather entertaining met...With a will save of +12, a rather entertaining method of neutralizing the Tarrasque could be getting 20 Helms of Opposite Alignment, teleporting 20 hired-hands on top of the Tarrasque's head, and having them all attempt to fit a helm onto one of its many knobbly protrusions. Statistically, it should fail at least once, and each helm can be retried until it functions (with new hired-hands, of course). The Tarrasque becomes Lawful Good, and lets the 20th-level Paladin use him as a mount.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15645561416130032331noreply@blogger.com
