This is just great, I love this.
I considered from group of 4 creatures only about ~2,5 would attack at the same time. We already doubled damage, so we need to increase chance of hitting for 2.5/2 = 1.25, or 25%. Which is exactly +5 on attack.
Probability math approves this logic. Curve looks just great.

It's time for on-table testing.EasternTimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05673434836454325339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8457309627892248510.post-43632086266811085462015-02-02T17:16:44.680-05:002015-02-02T17:16:44.680-05:00You could actually do it either way. Would the area be the same size as for a normal fireball, or would it be larger, like a ranged attack? Or is the higher save the only difference?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8457309627892248510.post-11574940909712846662015-02-02T15:25:26.629-05:002015-02-02T15:25:26.629-05:00Exactly correct. If 20 enemies moved away from a PC with combat reflexes, there would be a lot of attacks of opportunity! A chance for that martial, who doesn't usually excel against groups, to feel like a badass.Zenithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05084567670274788805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8457309627892248510.post-43091193707206075152015-02-02T15:09:38.753-05:002015-02-02T15:09:38.753-05:00So, if a score moved away from a PC with combat re...So, if a score moved away from a PC with combat reflexes, they could get 5 attacks of opportunity?
